The weight distribution system I recommend for a Grand Design Transcend Xplor 245RL is the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System part # C17500 which has integrated sway control and an included pre-torqued hitch ball. The Transcend Xplor 245RL has a GVWR of around 8,000 lbs which will be right in the middle of this system. Sway control isn't required but it's a huge added benefit in regards to performance.
In regards to towing capability, if the max capacity of the vehicle exceeds the... view full answer...
The correct Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors for your trailer are the # BB1980A-SS. These fit a 1.98" hub bore and work with outer bearing # L44649 which is what you will find on your Dexter axle. They have a stainless steel construction and also come with the auto check so you can see when you need to add grease using the blue indicator ring. view full answer...
I don't have a way to know what axle capacity your trailer has so I am not able to determine that for you but I can help you figure out what you would need. Check the axles on your trailer and you should see a label that has the capacity listed. With that we can determine the correct brake assemblies like the part # AKEBRK-35-SA which fit the very common 3,500 lb axles. For leaf springs we would also need the length of your current springs. For example the part # e54SR fits 3,500 lb axles... view full answer...
The Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe Travel Trailer Cover - Model 6 30'- 33' RVs Grey # 052963736632 will fit travel trailers from 30-33 feet long and with a maximum height of 118 inches.
It is better suited for wet climates and offers better than average UV/Dust protection.
I recommend the Adco Olefin HD All-Climate + Wind RV Cover for Travel Trailer - Up to 34' Long - Gray # AD59ZR. It is an all climate long term cover that offers the best UV/Dust and weather protection. It will... view full answer...
The Furrion Solar Panel # FR73SR that you referenced is capable of putting out 8.82 amps, so yes you could use two of these 165 watt panels with a 25 amp controller and you'd not be exceeding the controller's output. view full answer...
More than likely the correct grease cap for your 2021 Grand Design Transcend 245RL is the Replacement EZ Lube Drive-In Grease Cap # 21-41-1. This has an outer diameter of 1.986" so you will need to measure the inside diameter of your hub bore to see if it matches. From what I found, Grand Design used four different hubs on this particular trailer so there is no other way to be sure. If you need the rubber plugs as well you can use # RG04-010. Regarding the black lug nuts, that is not something... view full answer...
Hey Kevin, so I don't have a way to verify what tire size your trailer has but as long as what you have is a 15 inch wheel tire size and a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inch then yes the Wildcat Trailer Wheel part # LH59VR would fit and work great. The 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern is for sure the most popular 5 lug bolt pattern. view full answer...
It is possible that the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for Travel Trailers # LC191025 will work with your angled scissor jacks but only if there is a crossmember rearward of the rear jacks at a minimum of 4” to a maximum of 18”, and locate a cross-member or center compartment with a steel floor from 6”-18” from front of front jacks.
If you do not have a crossmember in these locations the best option would be to use the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizer for Tandem-Axle Trailers... view full answer...
That's a really good question but the best way to know if the bumper of your 2023 Grand Design Transcend 247BH would require reinforcing would be to check with Grand Design to determine if the bumper has a weight capacity for towing or if it's even rated for towing or not. If it's rated for towing it would be fine but if not you'd want to run the install of the Mount N Lock SafetyStruts # MO22FR by them and see what they think. view full answer...
It would be difficult to add a Friction Sway Bar # 83660 to a Blue Ox weight distribution hitch. The mounting points required just aren't there as the manufacturer never intended for both to be required. Plus you have the added hassle of removing it when doing tight turns and backing up.
I recommend add the Tuson Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 as it will work in conjunction with the system that you currently have in place. It utilizes the brakes on your trailer to reduce and prevent sway... view full answer...
We don't have that info handy unfortunately, but finding out what you need is pretty straight forward. What you'll need to do to see if the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7835 will replace your OEM steps or not is, measure the width and height of the mounting bracket location - you're going to need at least a 23" wide and 3-1/2" tall space.
Once you have that, measure from the mounting point to the ground to find out how many steps you need. Since you already... view full answer...
The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX you were looking at has 3 mounting holes, and either of them can be faced forward allowing you to have the jack head to point forward, or towards either side giving you the additional clearance you are wanting.
This jack has a 3500lb rating which will be perfect for your new 2021 Grand Design Transcend Explore 23' Trailer, and will have a very easy time raising and lowering the trailer. Since it is rated for quite a bit more than your tongue... view full answer...

I contacted Grand Design to see if they could help. From your VIN number they reported the the spring you are using is Item number 130041 "Axle Spring for 35K Axle Dexter" and provided the attached picture. The pictured axle is marked 072-042-00, which is a 4-leaf spring, 1-3/4" wide, 25-1/4" long and rated for 1750 pounds
The etrailer # e28SR is a similar 2-eye spring that is also 1-3/4" wide X 25-1/4" long and is rated 5000 pounds per spring. Alternatively, we also have the Universal... view full answer...
I would agree that it does sound like you need a new strut for your Solera Pitch Arm part # LC281154 that you referenced and for that you'd want the part # LC260282 and you'd be set. view full answer...
The answer to your question will depend on your bumper. More than likely the # MO22FR will be the correct part for your Grand Design Transcend Xplor 321BH. If you have a tube frame with a bumper that is 4" - 4-1/2" wide then this will work as extra support for your carrier and generator. You can see this in the attached review video at the 2 minute mark. If you have an I-beam, S-beam, or single channel frame you want the universal # MO34VR instead.
If you don't have a carrier already Mount-n-Lock... view full answer...
In order to choose the correct slide topper for a 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor Travel Trailer you simply need to measure your slide out from flange to flange. This will then be used to select the correct slide topper from the list below. The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 7'1" Wide part # LCV000165062 for example fits any slide-out measuring 80" - 85" wide.
Unfortunately, we aren't able to look up slide-out sizes for any one particular trailer. view full answer...
Between the two kits you mentioned the Blue Ox part # BLU66FR definitely is the better choice based on tongue weight range. Your tongue weight is easily going to fall within the range of this kit which is 750 to 1,000 lbs. view full answer...
Since you have the 27" wide entryway, the only additional thing we need to know is the "Entry Height." The attached photo will show you how to measure from the top mounting point to the ground. From there use the attached chart. For instance if your entry height was 38" high, then you would use # TLA8004.
Watch this though: If your entry height was 36" then you could use # TLA8004 or # TLA8003. The steps for taller entryways will extend out further. The steps for shorter entryways... view full answer...
Hey James,
If you have standard equalizers with a 5-3/4" horizontal and 2" vertical measurement then the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 would be the correct replacement for you. If you're saying that you already have those and are wanting something else then you can go with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687. These have a 5-1/2" horizonal and 2-1/2" vertical measurement so you'll probably have enough slack in the shackle straps to accommodate this difference without... view full answer...
